competition terms

Eligibility

  • The competition host is The Arrington Method, LLC. (TAM) located in Houston, Texas. 

  • The competition is open to participants aged 13 years or older, except employees of The Arrington Method, LLC and any of its identified partners. 

  • There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition. 

Entry Period

  • Competition dates are posted on the website and entry forms, as they change with each competition type.

  • Inspiration competitions are held multiple times per year.

  • Please check our Instagram (@arringtonmethod) and entry forms for competition dates. After a competition is closed, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

Rules & How to Enter

  • The entrant must be following @arringtonmethod on social media in
    order to enter.  

  • Must be your own original work.

  • May only contain content, for which you have all required consents
    and approvals.

  • Cannot contain, as determined by TAM, content that is sexually explicit, violent, derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group, which violates any law, or which communicates messages inconsistent with the positive good will to which we wish to associate.

  • All submissions must be made through the link provided by TAM. 

  • Only one entry will be accepted per person or group. Multiple entries from the same person or members of a group will be disqualified. 

  • No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason. 

  • By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her/their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. 

Prizes

  • Prize(s) will be as announced in the individual contest description.

  • Prize claim deadline: 7 (seven) days after the delivered notification

 

Disclaimer

  • By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her/their agreement that all components of the submission to the competition are original and owned by the group/individual. 

  • By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating that his/her/their entries will be shared with the judging panel.

  • ​By entering this competition, the identified winner understands, they are granting permission for TAM to post their provided information and submission to TAM's website, social media and other promotional materials and communication outlets.

  • The host reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be shared with entrants as soon as possible by the host. 

  • The host is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition. 

  • The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by the United States law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United States. 

  • The winner agrees to the use of his/her/their name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current [US] data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent. 

  • This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other social network. You are providing your information to The Arrington Method and not to any other party. 

  • TAM is not responsible for:

    • typographical errors in any materials relating to the Contest

    • lost, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, or delayed entries

    • cancellations, postponements, or delays

    • Acts of God, war, terrorism, government regulation, disaster, fire, strikes, civil disorder

    • unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Contest

    • electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries

    • or any other causes beyond such parties’ control, making it inadvisable, illegal, impossible, or impractical to continue the Contest or to perform under these Official Rules.

 

Copyright

  • Any copyright which may be created in any sketch, design, print, packaging, label, tag, advertising, promotional material, or the like bearing any of the trademark will be the property of the Licensor, whether designed by or for the licensor or licensee. 

  • The Licensee will ensure that proper copyright assignments in favor of the licensor are signed by the creator of the work in which such copyright subsists and as the case may be, by the employer of the said creator. 

  • The Licensee will cooperate fully with the Licensor to confirm the licensor’s ownership of all rights in and to such copyright and the respective rights of the licensor and licensee pursuant to this agreement, including executing all documents reasonably required by the licensor  

 

Nothing in this Policy or the Terms of Service grants you a license to develop, create, or offer any products or services based on any of the Content found on this website. To the extent approved by The Arrington Method, you are authorized to use and download materials that are made available on this website only for your own needs. You may not use, distribute, modify, transmit, or post any Content obtained from the use of this website, or any functions of this website for public or commercial purposes, including any text, images, audio, or video without our expressed written permission. Specifically, you are not authorized to resell access to any such materials or to redistribute, or facilitate the redistribution of any such materials for sale to others. You may not delete copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights and proprietary notices from printouts of electronically accessed materials. 

You agree and acknowledge that all trademarks, service marks, logos, names, and titles, including, but not limited to, "THE ARRINGTON METHOD," the TAM and TAM canvas logo (collectively, the "Marks") on this website and within the Content are proprietary to the Company and are protected by applicable trademark and copyright law. Nothing on this website should be construed as granting any license or right to use any of the Marks displayed on this website. Any unauthorized use of the Marks or any other Content is strictly prohibited. 

 

You agree and acknowledge that the Marks may not be used in connection with any product or service that does not originate with the Company, in any manner that is likely to cause confusion among users, or in any manner that disparages or discredits the Company. 

 

The Arrington Method owns all rights, title, and interest in and to the Content, including all copyrights, patents, trade secrets, database rights, and other intellectual property associated therewith or appurtenant thereto. All users expressly acknowledge that the Content was created as a result of the expenditure of substantial time, effort, money, creativity, and other resources, and comprises and constitutes commercially valuable trade secrets proprietary to The Arrington Method. All users agree to protect the Content from unauthorized disclosure or access, using measures at least as diligent as those employed by user to protect its own confidential information. 

The Arrington Method respects the intellectual property rights of others and requires that persons using this website do the same. In appropriate circumstances, we will terminate the access to this website of any person or entity who is responsible for acts of copyright infringement. If you would like to obtain permission to make use of this website in a way that is not permitted by these Terms, please send a request to do so in writing.
